Seminar Preparations Taking Shape.
FirstTimeInside.co.uk are delighted to confirm we are in the process of building a seminar aimed at delivering a dynamic service related message to those solicitors tasked with representing clients in criminal courts across Scotland.
We will be in a position to confirm a date and an appropriate venue, for this initial seminar, later this month. At this time we anticipate the event taking place in Glasgow between 29th April and 12th May 2019. We have confirmation from a number of guest speakers who, quite wonderfully, expressed an interest in supporting the event including leading solicitor and human rights campaigner Mr Aamer Anwar and Mr Robert McHarg (CEO, Achieve More Scotland). We are in currently working to finalise the line up for what we are sure will be a positive event for all attending.
Full details will be made available through our site at FirstTimeInside.co.uk shortly however you can pre-register an interest in attending simply by clicking on the link and completing our simple Contact Form. This will ensure details of this and future events are sent direct to you.
Group Workshops Available Soon.
We are also delighted to confirm that we will shortly be launching a series of workshops for small groups of solicitors where we will not only outline our services to them but also explain to them how those services add value to their existing legal services and by extension most importantly to the clients they represent.
Here at First Time Inside it is our belief that many of those heading to prison for the first time have no real idea of what lies in wait for them and having spoken to solicitors across the country it seems fair to suggest that there is little or no time spent offering insight into what happens beyond the accused’s court appearance.
Our workshops aim to offer a genuine insight to solicitors of prison life and in particular the challenges that their clients will face in those early hours, days and weeks in jail.
Dates for our workshops, which will be held across Scotland, will be made available soon through this site but you can pre-register an interest in attending simply by sending your details to us via our Contact Form.
Larger firms can also request a workshop be held exclusively for their staff at their premises simply by e mailing [email protected] and we will get in touch to discuss options available.
As always thanks for taking the time to visit our site.
